YOU ARE THE LIPSTICK QUEEN, YOUNG AND SWEET….
LIPSTICK QUEEN OXYMORON MATTE GLOSS – Like the lycrics from the classic ever popular ABBA song, there is something retro about Lipstick Queen as a brand.  Developed by quirky Aussie lipstick guru Poppy King, who has an almost whimsical passion and philosophy about gorgeous lips. Despite the clear lucite round compact with tacky looking bold black letters, the gloss is shiny and glides on nicely. The 4 pretty neutral shades are very soft and natural looking. The big drawback for me was the see-through look of a dime store compact and the separate brush that doesnt even come with a cap – so it is not transportable and who doesn’t need to reapply lip gloss during the day! The size is generous, but it honestly looks like a generic brand rather than a designer product.
FINAL VERDICT: ICW (IT CAN WAIT) – I liked the gloss, but didn’t like the packaging and sheer inconvenience of it. For $20, there are better products available.
