Have you been hitting the gym, but still can’t get rid of the jiggle? Or maybe you’ve been trying your best to get in fighting shape for swimsuit season, but just can’t seem to tone those problem areas. Don’t give up on your short-shorts and strapless dresses just yet.

If diet and exercise have failed you, there’s finally a way to blast notoriously stubborn lumps, bumps, and chicken wings. Venus Freeze, a non-surgical body contouring system, is a painless, non-invasive triple-threat treatment that reduces fat, cuts inches, and tightens skin. It combines the power of Radio Frequency (RF) and Magnetic Pulses into a technology called (MP)² that targets fat, cellulite, and loose skin on your arms, abs, thighs, and butt.

The treatment works by heating skin deep beneath the dermis to stimulate collagen production, which causes skin to look and feel firmer. When the temperature of skin is elevated, the body releases stress hormones, which pass through the blood stream and attach to receptors on the membrane of the fat cell in the hypodermis (the deepest layer of the skin). This activates the hormone that is in charge of breaking down triglycerides into free fatty acids, allowing them to exit the fat cell through the blood stream. This process ultimately reduces the volume of the fat call, giving you a smoother, shapelier silhouette.

To get the skinny on this hot treatment, we spoke with Diane Cordon, Licensed Medical Aesthetician at The Few Institute. “For the best results, we advise patients to drink a lot of water and try to work out post-treatment. This helps flush out the toxins which are broken down during the procedure,” said Cordon. “Many patients report a tightening effect immediately post-session, but optimal outcomes are visible about three months after your last treatment.”

The procedure, which is often compared to feeling like a hot stone massage, is also suitable for use on the face and can be used to aid the healing process post-surgery.

“Cellulite control takes commitment and what our clients love about the Venus Freeze is the pain free process and visible results. The treatment takes less than an hour and our clients can immediately return to work after a lunchtime session. Most describe it as a lovely warm massage,” said Anushka, Founder of Anushka Spa in West Palm Beach, and touted to be the “Diva of Dimples.”

Venus Freeze treatments must be performed by licensed nurses or aestheticians and prices vary by area, ranging from $375 per treatment for larger areas like the butt and thighs, to $195 for smaller areas like the inner thighs. There’s no downtime and treatments take only about fifteen minutes for the face and forty minutes for the body.

Four to six treatments one week apart are recommended, so start now to achieve body-baring confidence this summer!
