VELASHAPE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT AREAS OF YOUR BODY YOU LOVE MOST?
If you had to choose just one area to improve, would you pick your body or your face? According to a new survey of over 1,000 American women commissioned by Syneron Medical, 70% of the women in the study said they are most worried about developing a tummy bulge, as opposed to only 50% who said they are worried about wrinkles and/or fine lines.
“It has been a long-held belief that a flawless complexion represents youth and beauty. With the focus on shapely bodies, this perception has shifted beyond a perfect face to include the perfect smooth body as well,†stated Tina Alster, M.D., board-certified dermatologist and director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in Washington, D.C.
The survey went on to discover that 73% of the participants admitted that if they were to come into some money, they would be more likely to invest in a better body shape before a designer wardrobe.
Unfortunately, for many women, despite Zumba® and carb avoidance, certain body areas still trouble them. Enter VelaShape® by Syneron, which is the first and only FDA cleared non-surgical treatment clinically proven to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite while smoothing and shaping the areas that diet and exercise can’t always fix – hips, thighs, buttocks, for example.
Getting that perfect shape may be closer than you think. VelaShape® has teamed up with fashion label Teri Jon® by Rickie Freeman to sponsor the Little Vela Dress Contest. Offering a $5,000 makeover to one lucky winner, the grand prize includes a series of four customized VelaShape® treatments with a Syneron physician; a trip to New York City to meet Teri Jon® founder and designer Rickie Freeman; a customized “Little Vela Dress” fitted just for you; hair and makeup done by a celebrity stylist; and a professional photo shoot – in her glam showroom.
Ten runners-up will be chosen at random to win a $100 eGiftcard from www.terijon.com.
The objective of the Little Vela Dress Contest is to inspire women to feel confident in a holiday wardrobe classic: the Little Black Dress. “The Little Black Dress is every woman’s go to outfit. It can take you from daytime to a night on the town with great style,†stated Ms. Freeman of Teri Jon®.
The Little Vela Dress Contest runs until November 30 through the VelaShape® Facebook page. To enter, all you have to do is Like VelaShape® on Facebook, post a photo of yourself in your own Little Black Dress, and tell VelaShape® what areas of your body you love most, and what areas you might want to improve.
If you have been longing for a body like J-Lo, Giselle or Beyoncé, the Little Vela Dress contest is for you.
