When it comes to gift giving I’m a big believer in giving things that I would love to receive myself, and as a beauty writer, it’s no surprise that I have an affinity for beauty products, particularly those that deliver on their promise. Some very lucky recipients are going to receive the most wonderful, luxe, decadent creams out there. After all, soft and supple, healthy, glowing, younger-looking skin is something that’s on everyone’s list.

La Mer Creme de la Mer ($170 for 1oz) has a cult-like following for a reason; it’s that good! It will soften, soothe and reverse dull, unevenly textured skin and is ideal for all skin types. La Mer’s Miracle Broth is formulated with hand-harvested sea kelp and is rich in nutrients and minerals to help your skin regenerate and return it to its healthiest state.

La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Souffle Body Cream ($330 for 5oz) firms, lifts, replenishes, treats and protects your whole body thanks to caviar extract, botanicals and emollients. Apply within three minutes of bathing or showering to lock in moisture and leave your skin soft, silky, smooth and firm.

Natura Bisse Diamond Drops ($190) is a major multi-tasker, protecting your complexion from environmental damage and delivering a major boost in hydration. Powered by Artemia Salina extract, a Triple-helix Marine DNA Concentrate, CHP-4 complex, and Betaglucans, it stimulates cellular metabolism, shields you from damaging free radicals, helps your skin hold water and activates your skin’s protective mode. You can mix it in with your favorite face cream, apply it after using your face cream, or add it to your foundation for long-lasting and luminous results.

Sabon Butter Hand Cream in Delicate Jasmine ($20) is my new favorite hand cream because it’s head and shoulders above any others out there. Passion fruit oil and vitamin C round out the formula and I love the light jasmine scent which will never overpower. A little goes a long way so just squeeze some out of the tube, apply to your hands and massage it in. The rich, creamy, moisturizing formula absorbs easily leaving your hands nourished and moisturized without any residue whatsoever. The understated beautiful packaging is just the icing on the cake! Besides my favorite Delicate Jasmine scent, it’s also available in Patchouli Lavender Vanilla, Lavender Rose and Lavender Apple.

‘Tis the season for parties and that means hostess gifts. If you don’t want to be like everyone else toting a bottle of red, you can’t go wrong with a Nest Classic Candle ($40) available in a variety of scents and sizes. Go the festive route with Holiday, a mix of pomegranate, Mandarin orange, pine, cloves and cinnamon, vanilla and amber notes, or Sugar Cookie, a blend of Tahitian vanilla bean and bourbon-infuse caramel with delicate threads of sugarcane crystals and the rich essence of golden amber. You can also opt for one of the more season-less picks such as the beautiful Blue Garden, which is made of up specific notes and accords that combine to transport you to a lush floral garden. Nest candles are also available in votive size ($16), 3-Wick ($64), and Grand ($250).

NOTE: All products were either purchased or tested in store. Opinions are my own.
