THE SCENT OF BRIONI
When you think of Brioni, the sensuality of fine Italian cashmere, silk, and wool come to mind. It is a label that speaks to prestige and elegance, most notably for finely crafted luxury menswear. A made to measure Brioni suit is the ultimate male status symbol — a mark of quality for a man who won’t settle for less than perfection.
The Italian couturier has launched a brand new fragrance, simply named Brioni. As you would expect, the hand fashioned bottle is a work of art in itself, and suitable for the Brioni man with discriminating taste. Designers Patrik Fredrikson and Ian Stallard created a modern bottle by hand that captures the movement of light and fabric in motion. Inspired by the Italian sculptures in Rome, the unique bottle is capped in hand brushed bronze which adds to its male character with a touch of antique charm.
The fragrance captures the essence of Brioni’s heritage of masculine grooming and elegance since 1945. “When a man wears a custom Brioni suit, he exudes a sexiness because he feels confident and protected,” says Brendan Mullane, Creative Director. “We wanted to bottle that feeling with a sensual and elegant scent.”
The new Brioni eau de toilette is comprised of three rich complex accords: Citrus (Sicilian lemon), Boutonniere (floral notes of magnolia, iris, and violet) and Woody (smoky, saffron, black licorice).
Brioni eau de toilette (75ml, $280) is available at Brioni boutiques, Bergdorf Goodman, select Neiman Marcus stores, and Selfridges in the U.K.
