ARE YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES RUINING YOUR LOOKS ?

Nothing beats having great tools at your disposal. Brushes make it easy to apply your makeup and get flawless results, but if you’re not cleaning them regularly you can wind up with a lot more than you bargained for.
Jeanine Downie, M.D., board certified dermatologist and director of Image Dermatology P.C. in Montclair, NJ, recommends “cleaning your brushes at least once every two weeks—more often if you have oily skin—to prevent dirt and bacteria getting on your face, which can block pores and may cause acne breakouts.” She also says “bacteria around the eyes can lead to stys and eyelash shedding.” Not the look you were going for!
