Does it work? Absolutely! When I tried one pad, my skin instantly looked brighter. My skin tone was visibly more even (it helped lighten dark spots and scars). There was absolutely no tingling sensation either, so it was a pleasant experience, since many peels can leave the skin red and irritated.
The peel pads are an attractive alternative to the other two-step peels that the brand carries, plus the foil packs ensure each pad has the maximum potency and stays nice and fresh. You may initially balk at the price tag of $68 for a pack of 12, but considering that they really do work and are a much less expensive option than a trip to the dermatologist’s office, it’s an investment that’s worth it. Of course, I would not recommend the foil packs as a substitute for a stronger medical peel, but they are a good fill in in between doctor visits.
