Luckily for us, the hair and makeup looks at New York Fashion Week have not only been pretty and inspiring, but also soothingly consistent. People, it looks like the 70s and 80sÂ are here to stay! The beauty stylesÂ at some of our favorite shows included updates on the best of whatÂ late 1970s and early 1980sÂ beauty had to offer–think great skin, fun eyes, and pretty, wearable looks for face and hair that will make you feel and lookÂ cool. During the Fall/Winter runway shows at New York’s Fashion Week, we reported that hairstyles had a lot of texture–from Lela Rose to Nanette Lepore.

The cool space, this year upgraded to two floors, was the perfect backdrop to all my beauty product-testing, -shopping, and -pampering needs, plus a custom candy bar with plenty of treats to nibble on.
