Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Phallic –This nail polish is my new fetish for fall! Illasmasqua is a new brand for me and it’s terrific. The square shape of the bottle makes it easy to grip, and the long, wide brush gives perfect results. Phallic looks like a sparkly dark denim blue in the bottle and after one coat, but the second coat transforms it into a deep, rich midnight blue. The formula dries very quickly, and doesn’t chip easily so that my manicure still looks great after a weekend of shopping! Though I personally love the deep color, my mother claims I look too gothic, especially against my fair skin. If you aren’t afraid of vibrant colors, you’ve gotta get it (its one of this Fall’s hottest colors too)! There are also Muse (dark teal), Baptiste (deep purple), and Rampage (forest green) But if you want something a little more subtle, try the tamer colors like Lament (deep coral) or the color in the picture above called Collide – a bright pink.
FINAL VERDICT: GGI Gotta Get It – Make sure to use a base coat before using this polish! Because it’s so dark, it may stain your fingernails. Illasmasqua polishes are $14 at Sephora.com
