Some call it the Oscars of the beauty industry, but The Fragrance Foundation Awards may just be the most coveted and glamorous award ceremony not attended by every celebrity in town. But that doesn’t mean this year’s event wasn’t star-studded: actors Michael C. What do Tom Ford and Justin Bieber have in common? If you think not much, try again. They were both winners at the 2012 FiFi Fragrance Awards. Considered to be the “Oscars†of the fragrance industry, the awards ceremony took place on May 22, 2012 at Lincoln Center in New York.
A total of 27 awards were announced and each winner was presented with the coveted crystal FiFi award. Justin Bieber, who accepted his honor via a pre-recorded video, won the 2012 “Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year†honor for his Someday scent. CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF EVELYN LAUDER – A BEACON OF PASSION

The beauty industry is mourning the passing of Evelyn Lauder, a pivotal member of the family team that built the Estee Lauder Companies into a leader in the global prestige beauty market. She died at her home in New York City on November 12 at the age of 75, following a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Mrs. Lauder is survived by her beloved family: her husband Leonard Lauder, Chairman Emeritus of the Estee Lauder Companies; son William, Executive Chairman of the Estee Lauder Companies; son Gary, Managing Director of Lauder Partners LLC, and his wife Laura, General Partner of Lauder Partners; and five grandchildren.
