Chafing. It can happen to the best of us, though fitness enthusiasts and those that are overweight are much more vulnerable to this skin condition. Chafed skin is the always uncomfortable and sometimes painful consequence of skin repeatedly rubbing against skin or clothing. It’s most prevalent on the thighs and underarm area but can also happen anywhere else on the body.
If chafed skin happens to you, you can treat it by gently cleaning the affected area with fresh water, patting it dry and then applying a petroleum jelly product to protect it from any further chafing.
