LANCOME BENEFITS ST. JUDE ON NATIONAL GENIFIQUE DAY

Today is a very special day for both Lancôme and the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.

On October 19, 2012, and at select Lancôme counters during the month of October, Lancôme will donate $7 from the in-store or online sale of every bottle of select Génifique products to St. Jude. The hospital is well known as one of the best centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other deadly childhood diseases

This is the third year in which the beauty brand shows its support for St. Jude, and some of the initiatives are pretty magical.

ULTA SUPPORTS BCRF WITH CUT-A-THON AND WINDOWS OF LOVE

Ulta Beauty is spreading love and kisses and good hair cuts this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Its windows will be filled from top to bottom with “kiss” decals as part of its Windows of Love – Donate with a Kiss program, which supports the Breast Cancer Research Fund. For each $1 donated on behalf of BCRF at an Ulta store, the donator will receive a “kiss” decal, which can be posted in the store or windows. The Windows of Love – Donate with a Kiss program is expected to showcase more than six miles of kisses in stores nationwide.

NEUTROGENA’S WAVE FOR CHANGE HELPS TEENS GIVE BACK

For the second year in a row, Neutrogena is sponsoring Wave for Change, a charitable campaign that makes it easy for teens to support a cause of their choice. This July and August, Neutrogena will donate $1 for every Neutrogena Acne, Cleansing or Cosmetics product sold and registered on the brand’s website. The company will donate up to $250,000 to GlobalGiving, an internet-based network that connects donors directly to the causes they care most about. Teens can choose to support a disaster relief, environmental or educational cause, each spearheaded, respectively, by Neutrogena brand ambassadors Vanessa Hudgens, Hayden Panettiere and Miranda Cogrove.
