For members of the beauty industry, nothing says holiday good tidings like the CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) Foundation Beauty of Giving Luncheon. The annual event brings members of the industry together to celebrate the season, but even better, to raise money for Cancer and Careers, the leading support organization for women and men undergoing cancer treatment, while continuing to work and maintain their careers. Founded by CEW in 2001, Cancer and Careers is “considered the leader in the field,” said Carlotta Jacobson, president of CEW.

From 9 pm to 11pm ET, net proceeds from donated beauty products will benefit Cancer and Careers, a Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation program that helps people maintain their jobs and careers while undergoing cancer treatment.
CEW president Carlotta Jacobson will appear on air for the debut of Cosmetic Executive Women Present Beauty with Benefits, a multimedia event in support of Cancer and Careers. Fourteen brands have donated products for on-air sale, including favorites like Clinique, Tarte, and Clarisonic.

Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW, for those in the industry) hosts its Beauty Insiders’ Choice Awards Product Demo each year to expose CEW members to the crème de la crème of beauty products, in various categories from haircare to fragrance to skincare and makeup. Each year, hundreds of brands show off their innovations to members of the industry who sniff, swipe, and slather products to really learn how they differ from the competition. And the entire idea is for CEW members to learn about all the entrants so they can VOTE for their favorite in each category.
