STROLLING THE CROISETTE WITH DIOR
Even if you didn’t make it to the Cannes Film Festival this year, you can look like did with the new Dior Croisette Summer Color Collection. Sharing a name with the famous seaside road in Cannes, France, the collection features shades of the Mediterranean Sea as well as beach including turquoise, gold, coral and pink.
“On vacation, you can wear all the colorful and casual clothing that you like, but must always be elegant,†said the late designer Christian Dior. You’ll feel like a best dressed celebrity with the eye, lip and nail products in this lineup.
No doubt the star of the group is the Dior 5-Couleurs – Croisette Edition ($60) eye palette, available in two harmonies, Swimming Pool and Aurora. Swimming Pool features 5 eye shadows in cool aquatic tones as well as a light coral and pale pink. Aurora is a warm collection inspired by a day spent sunbathing on the beach with shades of gold, burnt orange and brown. Both harmonies are embossed with sunburst pleats, which are inspired by the sophisticated “pleating†technique used on the fabric of Dior dresses.
The Croisette collection also features Dior’s first-ever eye gloss. Couleur Eye Gloss ($28) is available in two sparkling shades, Tan and Sunset. You’ll feel a cooling sensation when you apply these glosses, which are formulated to give a long-lasting, hydrated look.
Included as well is the new Dior Addict Lip Balm ($30) featuring a nourishing skincare complex that will keep your lips moisturized. The lip balm is available in Crystal Coral exclusively at Sephora.
The Croisette Collection also includes 6 lip colors, a turqouise eye liner and nail lacquer in Bikini and Saint Tropez. Check out the collection and bring a bit of the French Riviera home with you this summer.
