THE PRIMER OF YOUR LIFE
One of my least favorite parts about wearing makeup is how by the end of the day, my face is a mess. Whether from accidentally touching my eyes, or running around like crazy, it seems I always need to reapply. So I have been searching high and low for a primer to put on before applying makeup that would keep it in tact without making me break out. I wanted something that would give me a smooth complexion but also allows my eyeshadow, powder, and concealer to stay right in their place.
That is why I was so excited to try Cover FX’s SkinPrep FX in hopes that it would finally be the answer I was looking for. I put it on in the morning before applying any makeup, and felt it was a little oily, but when I rubbed it in, it made my face feel clean and soft and the oil disappeared. I then applied my makeup as I would normally, and went to work. After touching my face all day and walking outside in the rain, my makeup stayed completely in tact! Now, I don’t actually use foundation, so I can’t speak to how this product works as a primer for foundation, but it does keep my liquid concealer bound to my problem areas, which is my main need. I’m very pleased with SkinPrep and will continue to use it… and I can’t wait to spend less time worrying if my makeup has smeared and more time on the important things, like if Kim Kardashian is going to reconcile with Kris Humphries…
