Men are becoming more and more accepting of the importance of skin care. In fact, the trend is being led by Chinese and Korean men, where the men’s skin care market is growing exponentially. Stateside, the beautymakers are heeding the demand as well. The new Clinique for Men collection recently hit department stores around the country with an updated lineup and focus on shaving, moisturizing, and daily care.

Following the tradition of Clinique’s well-known 3-Step regimen, the men’s range features products to Cleanse & Shave, Tone, and Moisturize & Protect, with designations for normal to dry skin and oily skin.

Altogether there are 4 face cleansers/soaps, 3 shaving products, 2 toners. 4 moisturizers (including one with SPF), and 4 targeted-solution products like eye cream and dark spot corrector. There is even an oil-free Face Bronzer, which gives a suntanned appearance, and straddles the idea of makeup for men in an easy to accept format. Prices range from $13 for Exfoliating Tonic to $49.50 for Dark Spot Corrector.

To make the transition to serious skin care a little easier for the guys, Clinique has created a YouTube Men’s Grooming Guide. The series includes 6 videos that focus on daily care and shaving. There is even one on anti-aging, a concern for most men in today’s competitive job market.

The entire line is housed in masculine grey packaging that is completely portable and easy to toss in a gym bag or dopp kit. With Father’s day and graduation coming up, isn’t it time to get the men in your life to care for and protect their skin?
