SHISEIDO POWERS UP FOR SKINCARE AND MAKEUP LAUNCHES
From skincare to makeup, Shiseido has a bevy of new launches sure to enhance your beauty routine this fall.
Skincare news includes the new Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizing Cream ($75). An update of a classic, this is a daily moisturizer that works to maintain a youthful complexion and prevent the first stages of wrinkle formation. It features the company’s exclusive Bio-Revitalizing Complex, a combination of super bio-yeast extract, raspberry extract and hydroxyproline to improve skin’s elasticity and texture. In a Shiseido study, 82% of women reported that their lines became less visible after one month’s use.
For skin that is already showing the signs of age, Future Solution LX Ultimate Regenerating Serum ($225) offers a treatment to fight loss of firmness, wrinkles, dullness and visible pores as well as strengthening the skin by defending it against environmental aggressors. This lightweight serum is formulated for use in the morning and night after cleansing. The serum’s effectiveness comes from Skingenecell IP, which decreases the levels of Serpin B3, a protein that accelerates the aging process.
On the makeup front, Shiseido’s artistic director Dick Page has created Shiseido Makeup Shimmering Cream Eye Color ($25), individual pots of color that create a dewy finish. Smooth and blendable, the powders’ formulation features a shimmering powder that reflects different colors from every angle, emitting an intense radiance. The eye shadow is available in 12 shades, all inspired by photographs taken by Dick Page throughout his worldly travels.
And finally to make sure your complexion is canvas perfect, Shiseido brings us the Perfect Foundation Brush ($30). For this design, Shiseido partnered with one of the oldest traditional brush workshops in Japan. It’s crafted with a balanced mix of synthetic bristles and configured slanted ends, allowing for better pick up and application of all types of foundation – powder, cream or liquid. According to makeup artists, a synthetic brush for foundation is far superior to a natural bristle brush because the synthetic bristles do not absorb the color.
All of these new launches are available now at Shiseido counters and at www.shiseido.com.
