PUREOLOGY SUPER STRAIGHT SYSTEM – If you color your hair, and who doesn’t these days, you need some extra help with manageability. Chemical processes plus blow drying or flat irons wreak havoc on your tresses that need extra TLC. Pureology shampoos are zero sulfate so they won’t strip the natural oils out of your hair that needs every drop to stay healthy and strong. I am partial to the Pureology Super Straight Shampoo (in the blue bottle) which is a fabulous pre straightening product that also fills the need for sulfate-free shampoo if you have had Brazilian Keratin straightening in salon. , and I have found that it keeps my straightened hair cleaner than some other sulfate-free brands. It also has a hint of rosemary and lathers up beautifully, at least for me. Ingredients include all sorts of nice natural botanicals like white tea, shea butter, seaweed, avocado, oat, soy and wheat. The new Pureology Super Smooth collection is fantastic as well – it contains camelia oil, sesame oil and organic shea butter, specially for smoothing. The product also claim to have a patented ThermalAntiFade Complex with UVA/UVB filters to help keep your colour bright and beautiful for longer.
FINAL VERDICT – GGI (Gotta Get It) – Pureology is really a lovely brand and although it is somewhat pricey, it is excellent quality and lathers well so you do not need to follow the age old mantra of “Lather, Rinse, Repeat”. If you have coloured hair, it is definitely worth giving it a whirl.
