PORCELAIN PERFECT

B
BARE MINERALS FAIRLY LIGHT FOUNDATION – Another of my absolute fave products. As with most of the Bare Minerals products, this comes in a small pot and in a widerange of skin tones. It’s the first thingI use in my makeup routine; I apply it undermy eyes with a concealer brush to hide all those dark circles (though there isn’t enough powder in one potto hide those dark circles under MWC’s eyes).I also use the Handy Buki brush (from Bare Minerals too) to dust a little powder all overmy face for an even palette and put a little extra over imperfections like blemishes, zits, and freckles .And an extra plus– its got SPF 15!
FINAL VERDICT: (RDW) Run Don’t Walk! This is an absolute neccessity for anyone’s makeup routine (though maybe not for one’s traveling makeup routine since it gets a little messy). Itgives you an even, porcelain skintone, and it lasts all day… Hopefully Bare Minerals will make a brush that has the powder in the handleso we can take this with you everywhere!
I have tried Bare Minerals and it’s pretty nice, but I like Jane Iredale’s Amazing Base better and it’s not so messy. Has anyone used the Glo Minerals line? I heard that was also good.
September 30th, 2008 at 9:31 PMI like BE too, but I recently tried the Loreal mineral makeup and it was pretty good. Jane Iredale is supposed to be the purest, but it is harder to find – like mostly in spas. Never tried Glo – never even heard of it.
