OPI COUTURE COULEUR C’EST FANTASTIQUE

This collection of “couture” nail “couleurs” is magnificent!!! This fall/winter collection the colors are bold and exciting! Feeling sexy in the winter can get difficult when its ffffreezing out. Beautify your fingers and toes with these signature colors that will have people complimenting you from your hands down to your feet! I love that the range contains both lighter purples like ‘Parlez-vous OPI?’ but also incorporates those deep dark super winter-y colors we all love, ‘we’ll always have Paris’ and ‘Eiffel for this color.’ These products contain no DBP, toluene, or formaldehyde making them safer for your nails and cuticles. Now your probably wondering what the above mentioned are: DBP or ‘dibutyl phthalate’ is a plasticizer that makes nail polish flexible. Toluene is a colorless liquid used as a solvent. And Formaldehyde is a cheap preservative that helps harden nails. Search results at Skin Deep database show that DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde have the same high hazard score of 10. The hazard score is on 0 – 10 scale, (10 corresponding to highest toxicity). Moreover, all these ingredients are linked to cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity and allergies.  The colors are long lasting and arent prone to chipping much, but a few complaints have been about the polish being a bit streaky. Make sure to get a streak-free finish you dip enough polish on the brush each time! Overall the 12 color collection features lovely hues of reds, purples, and browns- colors which can compliment many different skin tones, leaving us feeling sexy and beautiful!
