I’m always in awe of how French women have a certain je na sais quoi when it comes to their beauty routines. They just get it right with their radiant skin, natural-looking makeup, and undone hair.
It’s only fitting that SOTHYS Paris, which has been creating innovative skin care and professional treatments for over 60 years, has launched a new makeup collection. The line was created with the effortless Parisienne woman in mind and includes SOTHYS renowned anti-aging ingredients and luxe formulas. “Based on our knowledge of the spa market, we have created a well-edited collection that makes it easy for spas to offer the makeup items that women most often request. These essentials help women of any age to create a timelessly chic French look,†said Corinne Smith, sales director of SOTHYS USA.
The elegant 20-product line feels great on skin and includes everything you need to get a flawless look that ranges from liquid foundations to an illuminating trio—a blush, bronzer, and highlighter in one—with prices from $18 to $49.
Makeup artist Anne Kohlhagen was on-hand for the special makeup preview and stressed the importance of prepping the skin and keeping the touch light. “This line particularly stands out for its treatment-based foundations and ultra-hydrating lipsticks. Rouge Doux goes on like a sheer stain for day, while full-coverage Rouge Intense is perfect for evening/bolder statement,” says Kohlhagen.
SOTHYS new makeup line is dedicated to the esthetician and is available at the SOTHYS Institute in New York City and will launch at partner spas starting in June.
