Among the first signs of fall is the welcome reappearance of sumptuous wine, scarlet, chocolate, and deep amethyst hues at Sephora. Of course, true to form, one of my picks for fall is YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture in Le Nu, a beautiful nude that covers my lips in a single smooth stroke. This rich elegant formula has an iconic 1940s look and feel and lasts really well without touchups. The deeper shades are beautiful too if you want to dive right into the season, even before the leaves start turning. Totally worth the $38 splurge, the new limited edition comes in 7 luscious shades.
I always switch up my skincare routine for each new season. So, this autumn, I’m most excited about La Prairie’s new Skin Caviar Luxe Cream ($485). Even unboxing this decadent moisturizer is a treat—and it makes me and my skin happy every time I use it. My face has never been smoother, plumper or more radiant!
After a summer spent wearing barely there makeup, I’m happy to embrace color again. My favorite trend this season is the Metallic Eye. Since I’m a minimalist at heart, I usually swipe it on my lids as a simple wash of color, but it also looks amazing worn rimmed around my eyes for a glammed-up version of the smoky eye. At $12 each, Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Shadow Singles come in 25 different metallic finish shades, all with a high-pigment, long-lasting color payoff, and a buttery, easy-to-blend formula. The Henna (a beautiful copper brown shade) and the Pink Champagne (a pinky-beige hue) have become my go-to’s.
Fall sounds an alarm that summer (i.e the party) is over and that it is time to recommit to my exercise regimen and say goodbye to those rose-all-day days. This means boxing at Rumble three or four times a week, and clean eating. It’s also time to re-moisturize my hair which is super dry from all the summer sun and salt water. To the rescue: Moroccanoil ($44) hair care.
I can’t get enough of Chanel’s Ultra Wear Lip Colours, they’re ultra-saturated liquid lipsticks paired with high-shine glosses. I love a good red lipstick that doesn’t come off—I’m in love with their Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue ($37) it pairs well with Chanel’s lip definer, Le Crayon Lévres in Désir ($31) You’ll love this combo! It pretty much stays on all day long. #Obsessed
I love a good mask to start off the Autumn season. After all the summertime fun in the sun, my skin is ready for a good clean and a new routine. I was so excited to test out this new launch just in time for Fall. Summer Friday’s Overtime Mask ($44) is a clarifying mask that uses vitamin-packed Pumpkin and exfoliating apricot seed powder to polish away dead skin cells for a luminous effect. My skin feels soft and smooth plus it smells so good!
