CEW UK: On April 13th CEW(UK) were delighted to welcome as their guest mentor, Wendy Lewis, Founder/Editor in Chief of Beautyinthebag.com, President of Wendy Lewis & Co Ltd, Global Aesthetics Consultancy and author of 11 books on beauty.

Wendy offered up her extensive experience and insider knowledge of navigating one’s way through Facebook and her 5 vital strategies of how to promote a brand in the Social Network that has morphed into the world’s largest website with over 600 million users.  She also gave her expert advice on how to get the most out of Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and ways to increase your engagement across these key networks. Wendy stressed the importance of knowing your market and creating content that resonates with your target market. She added her tips for staying true to your brand to maximise a two-way conversation through multiple social media platforms.

Her take home messages included: How a well-executed social media marketing program will generate new business, maintain existing customers, increase your Google rank and enhance word of mouth.
You don’t need to be tied to your desk to participate – mobile apps allow you to engage from anywhere. A website is at the core of any marketing program, but social media marketing has the potential to become even more important than SEO! Now is the time to get creative – social media is a marketers’ dream come true!

Wendy is renowned for her webinars and presentations on the power of social networking that she gives in the US and Europe. As a member of the advisory board of HBA Global Expo, Wendy has been hosting Facebook roundtables at their annual exhibition for the past two years and is well known as an expert in the field.
