The lovely Mathilde Thomas, founder of Caudalie, invited bloggers and other online media to partake in a fun and informative scavenger hunt at the brand’s ultra plush spa in New York City’s famous Plaza Hotel. We sought grape pholypehonols, grape-seed oil and all sorts of good smelling essential oils – ingredients in the brand’s limited edition Once Upon a Vine gift set ($38, value $71). Containing “vinotherapie” favorites to buff, smooth and polish, the gift set is sure to transport you to the vineyards of Bordeaux, the ancestral home of Caudalie. In addition to offering incredibly efficacious benefits, the products are all scented fabulously with aromas developed by Ms. Thomas, a trained “nose.”

The four piece set features:

Vine Body Butter – Delectably scented with orange, peach and iris root, the body cream melts into your skin with the therapeutic benefits of grape-seed oil, grape-seed butter and shea butter.

Hand and Nail Cream – A brand sell out, this cream contains grape-seed polypehonols, grape seed oil, shea butter, sweet orange and avocado to nourish and fight signs of age on the hands and nails.

Lip Conditioner – For use around the lips to smooth fine lines, the lip conditioner is formulated with 99.5% naturally derived ingredients.

Crushed Cabernet Scrub – Containing crushed grape-seeds, brown sugar, grape-seed oil, Gironde honey, and essential oils of lemon, lemongrass, geranium and juniper, this almost good enough to eat scrub, not only smoothes the skin but also nourishes it.
