GIRLS OF SPRING: MAYBELLINE AND GARNIER NAME NEW SPOKESPERSONS
It’s been a busy month for Garnier and Maybelline (both L’Oreal Group brands) in terms of announcing new spokespersons.
You might have already noticed Tina Fey as a spokesperson for Garnier Nutrisse haircolor, but now she adds Garnier Skincare to her portfolio. The comedian, actress, and star of 30 Rock is featured in a new TV and magazine advertising campaign that broke this month.
The company stated: “Grounded in the philosophy that everyone possesses their own natural beauty and has the power to make that beauty shine through, Garnier embraces the inherent self confidence and beauty of acclaimed, writer, producer, actress, mother, wife, and leading funny-lady Tina Fey.â€
Over at sister brand Maybelline, British model Jourdan Dunn has been named as a “new face,†joining an elite group of other models, including Christy Turlington and Emily DiDonato.
Discovered by a model scout while out with friends, Jourdan made her runway debut during the 2007 Fall New York Fashion Week. Look for advertising campaigns featuring this beauty and philanthropist this month.
“I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl and hopefully I can make people feel the same way I did when I saw the advertisements growing up,” stated Jourdan. “The brand imagery is always beautiful and positive. To now be a part of that is a dream come true.”
And back at Garnier Haircolor, Mexican actress Blanca Soto is the at-home color brand’s newest spokesperson. She has been named as one of Maxim magazine’s “Top Sexiest Women,†and is best known for her roles in Eva Luna, El Talisman, and Porque El Amor Manda.
Catch Blanca now in ads for Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color, proudly sporting her first signature shade, Light Golden Brown.
“I am in love with my new haircolor,” stated Blanca. “Haircolor transforms not only your physical appearance, but your attitude too—I am constantly changing up my look and color.”
