People celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in numerous ways. There are parades and theme parties and green food and some towns are known to take it to a whole other level by dying their rivers green.

Yes, on this day almost anything goes. St. Patrick’s Day is always a good time, but I think it’s just as great to go green every other day of the year. Some of my favorite ways are green smoothies, greenhouses, green stones (hello emeralds!), green energy and greener pastures. I also love green beauty products that can and should be worn on on St. Patrick’s Day and every other day of the year.

Check out these finds:

Mineral Fusion Nail Polish in River Rock, Emerald Sand or Meadow ($7.99 each) make it easy to embrace the latest artistic nail trends. You can wear them alone, layer them over each other or other colors, make graphic art designs on your nails or create my favorite look of a french manicure with green tips instead of the traditional white. Mineral Fusion polishes are 100% Vegan, free of toluene, formaldehyde, camphor, TPHP and dibutyl phthalate and come in these 3 gorgeous green shades as well as blues, pinks, reds, corals, neutrals, metallics, wonderfully sparkly colors and more, plus they are non-toxic and give long-lasting results. Try River Rock (an olive-toned green), Emerald Sand (a gold-glittered teal) or Meadow (a creamy green).

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Ivy Shimmer Ink ($26) is the perfect deep emerald green to flatter all. This gel-based formula glides on easily and smoothly and dries down to a long-wear, water-resistant finish. For a modern look, use a eye liner brush to make a graphic cat-eye on your upper lids and pair with mascara only, keeping the rest of your makeup neutral. You can take inspiration from Monique Lhullier’s Spring/Summer 2016 runway look and choose a brighter shade of green or keep it very wearable in this inky emerald hue.

Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow ($32) can be applied as a sheer wash of shimmery color or built up layer by layer for high-metallic opaque sheen. It comes complete with an eye primer to prep, prime and give long-lasting results.

The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder Mattified Lipstick in The Storm ($22), a blue-green teal shade that’s sure to make a statement. This bold lipstick is not for the feint of heart. It gives full coverage in one swipe and leaves lips healthy and conditioned thanks to added conditioning oils. For staying power, apply to lips, layer one ply tissue over lips while dusting with translucent powder. Remove tissue and apply a second coat of lipstick.

Mineral Fusion and Estee Edit products were provided for review to author, others were sampled in store. Opinions are author’s own.
