Yves Saint Laurent ROUGE PUR COUTURE Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain in 2 Brun Glace ($32) offers a perfect purple-brown hue that is a cross between a shiny gloss and a lip stain.
L’Oreal Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15 in Plum 04 ($19.50) is sheer and creamy, but lasts for 8 hours. We were surprised at this price point for a mass lipstick, but this one has a luxe feel and texture.

Laura Mercier Lip Stain in Mulberry Deep Berry Red ($20) adds an ultra sexy look of stain finished lips and adds a satiny feel.
Vincent Longo Lip Stain with SPF 15 in Eve Rose ($23) is light and emollient with an SPF15 that is perfect for daytime wear.
