CLINIQUE AMPS UP ITS WINTER BEAUTY OFFERINGS
The tried and trusted beauty brand, Clinique, has given the world so many beauty staples, from the cult classic Dramatically Different Moisturizer (DDML) to the new classic Chubby Sticks, now in so many new and appealing flavors including Curviest Caramel and Chunkiest Chili. And its recent slew of offerings and partnerships make winter even more beautiful. Here’s what the trusted brand has been up to:
A Winning Partnership
Grammy-nominated singer Meghan Trainor isn’t only about the bass, or writing lyrics to songs like Lips Are Movin. She recently partnered with Clinique to offer a limited edition bag. Designed by Trainor and catchy in looks and appeal, the bag is inspired by her Lips Are Movin’ video and is yours free with a purchase of $30 or more (in a nod to spring, it features a symbol of a two-toned lip on a background of white and blue stripes–ideal for the jet setter).
New Long Last Glosswear Shades: Purple Crush & Cupid’s Bow

Despite the cooler temperatures outside, the new 8 hour gloss wear shades from Clinique will make your blood warm. Both Purple Crush and Cupid’s Bow are the two latest launches for the brand and they are more spring than winter. Purple Crush is a reddish purple with iridescent pearl that doesn’t look too vampy (it’s safe enough to wear for a weekend brunch, but a bit too risque or oddball for the office). Cupid’s Bow is a creamy punchy yellow red that’s slick enough for any evening out.

Clinique’s new Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream joins the others in the “Repairwear” category (Intensive Night Cream, Uplifting, Firming). The sculpting component is addressed through a cream-gel formula which easily absorbs (important for a clean skin and pillow) into the skin and moisturizes as well as stimulates collagen (the ingredients are a mystery: Clinique doesn’t divulge them); so, we have to take this cream at face value as to what it does.

New in the Clinique category are a roller ball and purse spray from the cheerful “Happy in Bloom” fragrance collection in time for spring, with green notes, lily-of-the-valley, mimosa, freesia, amber, musk and plum–an especially floral bouquet that’s light enough to be worn during the day and the evening as well. The roller ball is ideal for travel, of course, and an ideal stash in your pocketbook so you can feel light and happy whenever you wear it.
