Blackheads around my nose and chin are ruining my life. What should I do to get rid of them?

Blackheads are an accumulation of oil and oxidized dead skin cells, which is why it looks black . Best solution is to use an exfoliating cleanser once daily, or a mild Buff Puff in the shower, to help loosen the debris and bring it to the surface where it can be washed away. This also helps to purge pores and keep them clean to prevent more blackheads from forming. Forget the scotch tape , that is only going to cause irritation and an environment for future blemishes.  If your blackheads are multiplying, an aesthetician can do extractions to gently remove the dirt that is causing blackheads.  Microdermabrasion can also help – invest in one of the home systems to do it yourself, or go to the spa or salon every 3-4 weeks to keep blackheads under control.
