ZO Skin Health, Inc. cut the (signature shimmering royal blue) ribbon on their new showroom in New York City’s posh Soho shopping district with brand enthusiasts, physicians, top ‘skinfluencers’ and of course, Dr. & Mrs. Zein Obagi on-hand for the celebration. (Mrs. Obagi also has flawless skin, surprise, surprise…).
The festive mood was further elevated as the brand was recently named one of the top 5 skin care brands by dermatologists by Allure magazine, citing Dr. Obagi’s three decades of prowess in reversing pigmentation and promoting optimal skin health for life.
A natural extension for the doctor-dispensed skin brand now available around the world in over 80 countries and counting, the new NYC location joins a growing list of ZO Skin Health Centers in Beverly Hills, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach in the swanky Fashion Island mall, St. Petersberg, Florida, Dallas, Texas, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Cairo. For now, the space, which features shelf after shelf of ZO Skin Health, Inc.’s most sought-after sunscreens, creams, pads, serums, sprays and polishes, flanked by Giant sized replicas of the brand’s hero products, is mainly used for lectures and to help introduce doctors to the growing product line, skin care philosophy and protocols. It will also serve to keep physicians abreast of new ZO Skin Health, Inc. offerings including a new partnership with Hydrafacial. ZO Skin Health recently launched HydraFacial Brightalive Booster Serum, which when combined with a HydraFacial in-office treatment, brightens skin tone and lessens discoloration to create that sought-after insta glow.
During the grand opening bash, Sameer Bashey, MD FAAD, a board-certified dermatologic surgeon in Beverly Hills, CA, offered complimentary Visia complexion analysis and personalized skin health prescriptions for all comers. Visia looks below your skin’s surface and creates a not-so-pretty picture of what’s going on underneath it to give you a heads up on sun damage, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and other damage that is on deck as well as intel on where your skin is already doing well.
And of course, no 2018 event is complete without a signature cocktail – in this case, a smoking blue lemonade, and monogrammed mini-cupcakes further sweetened the A-list event.
