September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and thanks to a small group of Australian surfers, November has been dubbed Movember, the month dedicated to raising funds and awareness for men’s health, particularly testicular and prostate cancer.

To support the movement, guys grow a Mo (slang for a moustache), and essentially become walking, talking billboards during the month of November. Gentlemen prepare your moustaches. November is now known as Movember, the month in which men around the globe will grow a moustache in support of men’s health issues.
