HOT FEET

OLAY THERMAL PEDICURE – All I can say is aahhhhh. This self-heating exfoliating treatment soothes tired, aching feet and leaves them soft and comfortable. It warms on contact and polishes away dead skin, calluses, and rough patches. Shea butter moisturizes and softens skin. Use it on damp feet after your bath or shower and massage it in. It’s like having reflexology – your whole body feels good if your feet are comfortable. It also keeps your nails and pedicure looking fresh for longer.
FINAL VERDICT – BOB (BEAUTY ON A BUDGET) – $8.99 but it smells and feels like an expensive spa product. This is just what you need to get ready for sandal season.
SWEET TREAT FOR YOUR FEET

FOOTLOGIX CRACKED HEEL FORMULA – If you love super smooth feet, this is the product for you. It is pretty pricey for just a foot cream – about $24 – but works very well. The great thing about this product is that while you can use it at night in conjunction with “moisturizing socks”, you can also use it after you get out of the shower or bath and put on socks right after. No greasy residue. I tend to use this product in the winter rather than in the summer as this is the time I really need something special for my feet. Use sparingly – a little goes a long way.
FINAL VERDICT – GGI (GOTTA GET IT) – This product isn’t very sexy or luxurious, but it gets the job done in a no muss, no fuss sort of way.
LOVE YOUR FEET

EFASIT INTENSIVE MOISTURE BALM – I found this German foot cream at Boots in London, after one of my many grueling transcontinental dealyed flights in high heels. My feet were in serious need of TLC. I picked this off the shelf, tossed it in my basket, and soared through the cash till. I don’t love the ugly bright yellow and green tube that cries out “drugstore brand”, but I have to admit that I love the creamy balm inside. It smells botanical, feels rich and emollient. It contains vitamin E, jojoba, rosemary oil and menthol so it is very sooothing. If you slather it on overnight, you can awake with soft, smooth feet.
FINAL VERDICT – BOB (BEAUTY ON A BUDGET) – Cheap and cheerful foot balm that gets the job done brilliantly.
