ROSEBUD SALVE – The biggest dilemma for me on the topic of Rosebud Salve is how to pronounce it? Do you say “SALV” including the “L”, or as my grandmother says, “SAAV” (as in savvy)? Before I sat down to write this review, I had to double check. Â According to my friends at Merriam Webster, the preferred pronunciation is the latter which makes my grandma right as usual! I had never heard about this product until I read about it in a celebrity tabloid as a cult product some starlet can’t live without. Â I don’t even remember who the starlet was now. But I decided to try it out – and it was only $6. I chose the original formula but there is a Strawberry and a Mint tint too. It is great for chapped lips, also soothing on cracked heels and works as a cuticle cream too. I use it on cuts and scrapes and blisters from shoes that pinch. It even doubles to moisten red, irritated nostrils when you have a bad cold. Â I bet it’s great for sunburns also. The uses are endless and it feels nice. I love the antique logo on the tin.
FINAL VERDICT: BOB (BEAUTY ON A BUDGET) - For $6 this little tin of balm will solve a multitude of beauty problems for you. Â Now I can’t live without it either! If you want to try the trio, you can get the whole set in a pack for $18 – makes a cute gift too.

I just rediscovered a tin of this stuff at the bottom of my bag on a trans-Atlantic flight and I was so happy! It smells great and saved me from a very bad cuticle sitch.
