BITB spoke with Rebekah about her beauty philosophy, beauty trends and beauty products she can’t live without.
1. What is your personal beauty philosophy?
As an artist, I find what’s beautiful about each person, and use makeup to shine a spotlight on that very thing that shines so beautifully already on its own. Healthy skin is so important to me as well. I’ve really embraced the “less is more” approach to beauty. When your skin glows, you can enhance the rest of your face with makeup to glow right along with it. Lately, I’ve been using products on my skin that will give me a natural warm glow, and top it off with a few products to enhance my eyes and cheekbones. My eyes always search for beauty around me. I find color inspiration in the cool tones of the sea, and in the gorgeous jewel tones of Fall.
2. What is your favorite Fall 2016 Makeup Trend?
I love pushing the boundaries a bit when it comes to trends. While I love following the latest trends, I always like to add a little classic finish to my looks. I love a soft brown lined eye, with a slight smudged smoky effect. This looks great with soft peachy-nude toned eye shadows blended up to the crease of the eyes, and topped with lots of mascara . This gorgeous look is complete with a peachy-ginger warm glow on the cheeks, and a deep burgundy lipstick blotted down into the lips to create a berry stain on the lips… Sultry and magical!!
3. What are the 3 beauty products you can’t live without?
I cannot, will not, ever live without MAC Teddy Eye Kohl Pencil. There is something about this liner that adds a little sparkle to everyones eyes. Everyone needs Teddy! I use it every single day in my waterline, and top it off with my favorite mascara, Charlotte Tilbury’s Legendary Lashes in Black Vinyl. I also am totally loving Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Risque. I’ve recently started using their blushes, and absolutely love their coverage and long-lasting finish.
