1. What are the hot, new makeup and color trends for fall and winter What looks do you think it’s time to move away from – like too bold lips, Carla Delevigne brows, red eyeliner, etc.?
Hot colors for fall and winter will be cool metallic tones such as grey and black. We will be seeing a lot of green smokey eyes and deep scarlet or burgundy lips. As we know, bold lips are always popular for fall, but this season it’s all about texture, metallic, gloss and matte liquid.

2. What are some of your personal favorites among the Laura Geller collection and why?
Some of my favorites from the Laura Geller New York are Spackle Primer in Ethereal. The pearl pink and warm undertones are perfect to heat up any skin tone and give a glow. The Kajal Eyeliners are the smoothest eye crayon I have worked with. They are beautifully pigmented and long-wearing. The Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators are super versatile, can be used wet or dry, and come in a variety of shades – I love them! Lastly, Laura Geller’s Baked Iconic Lipstick are super pigmented and are very hydrating.

3. Share your top tips for women 40+ on how to look young and fresh.
My top tips for 40+ women are to use to luminous finish foundation to help keep the glow going for the day and night. It is definitely important to use serums and primers on the skin before applying makeup. Fill in your brows, for a youthful, fresh look. And Lastly, as for lipstick and blush, you should add color every day. I recommend using a creamy texture lipstick or an illuminating blush to enhance the glow.
