From botanical-infused sheet masks to facial serums, BB creams and beauty waters, K Beauty is all the rage in skincare today – and what started in Korea is quickly finding its way to our shore.
The newest entry into this growth category – Mamonde, owned by Amore Pacific, celebrated their launch by creating a pop-up version of famed Mamonde garden, located just outside of Seoul, right in New York’s Soho.
Delicate floral scents mixed with the unseasonably Spring air and wafted through Canal street and up toward Lispenard Street as members of the media and the general public traversed through the garden and almost immediately transcended.
Flower carts, vines and a floral swing framed the 28 products that comprise Mamonde’s new floral and nature-inspired K-beauty line. Products including a 7-day sampler set of sheet masks, an overnight hydrating lip mask and an oil to foam cleanser are steeped in such botanicals as Hibiscus, Rose, Camelia, Lotus, Honeysuckle and Narcissus. The sheet masks are particularly lovely.
The NEW Mamonde K-beauty skincare collection ranges in price from $7.00 – $38.00 and is available NOW on Ulta.com and in select Ulta stores.
“We’re delighted to be the exclusive U.S. brick and mortar retailer for Mamonde, with many additional items especially developed for Ulta Beauty. Mamonde, true to AmorePacific’s deep heritage of innovation and trend leadership, is a fabulous addition to our continuously growing assortment of K-beauty products. Mamonde is botanical, nature-inspired and simplistic, even combining the ritualistic double cleanse routine into a single, rose-scented step,” says Penny Coy, Ulta Vice President Merchandising, Prestige Skincare and Fragrance, in a news release.
