In the ever growing list of partnerships between celebrities and beauty brands, we now have the news of Gwen Stefani signing with L’Oreal Paris as a new international face for the brand. Just last month, the beauty giant announced that Jennifer Lopez was also a global spokesperson. Television commericals featuring Gwen and Jennifer debuted during the Golden Globes on January 16.
As for Gwen, who is the much adored front woman of rock band No Doubt, she considers herself to be a “lucky, lucky girl,” to be part of L’Oreal Paris.
Apparently her corporate partners agree: “Gwen is a stunning artist with mesmerizing talent and we are thrilled to have her on board. She takes beauty to another dimension, womewhere between style and art. A rock star and fashion icon, she’s definietly a modern muse of her time,” stated Cyril Chapuy, global brand president of L’Oreal Paris.
Gwen is no newcomer to the world of fashion and beauty. She markets her own brands of clothing and accessories under the L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers labels and also has a line of fragrances sold through Coty, as does Jennifer Lopez.
