Watching someone braid hair via video is a lot easier for me than reading it or looking at pictures. I love reading magazines such as Glamour, Allure, and Marie Claire to read up on the hottest beauty buys and style tips from the experts! I like how i can always find a review from an individual with whom has a similar interest or physical characteristic (such as skin type) – and there are some amazing dedicated people out there who want to share their discoveries with you. For the past couple of years these types of mediums have been a great way in helping me to educate myself as well as to ensure how to take care of my skin in the best possible way. Best thing about it is that it doesn’t cost a thing to learn from them:)

I also tend to stick to beauty blogs that offer reviews from people who have actually tried the product, that way I make sure that Im getting the consumer/customers opinion instead of going to the products main page where peoples testimonials or opinions can be managed to persuade/convince people to buy the beauty product.

Twitter lets me know of great beauty products for me. Facebook not only lets me know of beauty products for me but they often have contests as does twitter. My dermatologist suggests best beauty products for my skin type.
I like to learn from user reviews on blogs or websites like Amazon.com.
