Flowers. They’re gorgeous to look at, intoxicating to breathe in, and have many major benefits when used in beauty products. They can affect your mood and you can expect to get everything from anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties from them. And don’t get me started on floral packaging — It can easily elevate a product from something you shove in a drawer to something you prominently display on your vanity.

If flowers make you as happy as they make me, get ready to be giddy. Here’s a sampling of some of the latest and greatest floral offerings:

Miu Miu Hair Mist ($49) combines lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, greens and earthy notes for a fresh, sophisticated, feminine scent that will make your hair smell divine without weighing it down. To use, simply style hair as usual and spray.

Too Cool For School Glam Rock Vampire Kiss Lipstick ($18) is formulated with rose flower water and a fruit combo including pomegranate, mango and pineapple extracts to soothe and plump your lips. This long-lasting lipstick has a satin finish and is available in red and burgundy shades.

Neogen Dermalogy Real Flower Cleansing Water ($22) multitasks as a facial cleanser and toner in one. It’s formulated for all skin types — even sensitive — but is especially helpful for those with oily, combination or acne-prone skin because it balances oil production, and those prone to facial redness thanks to calming and brightening calendula petal extracts.

LXMI Crème du Nil Pore-Refining Moisture Veil ($78) revitalizes lackluster, dry, unevenly textured skin and will even diminish the look of enlarged pores. This lightweight formula is rich in fatty acids, hibiscus flower acids, vitamins and more to hydrate, exfoliate, illuminate, protect and soothe.

Moroccanoil Body Soufflé Fleur d’Oranger ($56) is delicately fragranced with an energizing orange blossom scent. This long-lasting, lightweight, non-greasy body moisturizer whips argan oil, shea butter, Vanilla fruit extract and macadamia seed oil to soften, smooth hydrate, nourish and protect skin. Also available in Fleur de Rose, a modern rose fragrance.

Wander Beauty Wanderlust Powder Foundation ($40) can be worn as a full coverage foundation when applied with a sponge, sheer coverage when applied with a brush, or layered on top of liquid or cream foundation for a matte finish. It’s formulated with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory honeysuckle flower extract, hibiscus flower extract to even out skin tone and boost elasticity, safflower flower extract to unclog pores and aloe leaf extract to moisturize and restore suppleness.

Ellis Brooklyn Rrose Eau de Parfum ($100) features Lotus Blossom, Sicilian Lemon, Peony, Centifolia Rose Petals, Vanilla Orchid and other lively notes for a flirty, sparkling fruity-floral olfactory experience.

NOTE: All products have been tested in store. Opinions are my own.
