ESTEE LAUDER BRONZE GODDESS COLLECTION REVIEW
The Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection is an annual pleasure: new colors dazzle us every year, and the portfolio and formulations increase in finesse, elegance, and versatility.
The new 17-piece Bronze Goddess Collection is inspired by the sultry shades of the Caribbean, and the idea behind it is a sumptuous paradise. This limited-edition lineup is all about inspiring you to create the look and feel of shimmering waters, soft, sandy beaches along, and the air of the tropics – definitely collector worthy. Here’s the low down:
If we were to pick just one product to purchase and love until eternity, it would be the new Heat Wave Powder Gelee. This is packaged beautifully, for starters, and illuminates the complexion to give you a polished glow, which is perfect for a day at the beach or a night at the club. It features blendable and buildable coverage, so you can layer foundation and concealer below this without worry. The delicate sand pattern is almost too pretty to touch, but please do and enjoy the luminescence.
This bronzer contains a delicate shimmer that reflects light, and helps you build a nice, gorgeous, sculpted cheek. There’s also a Luminous Liquid Bronzer if you want a no powder option, as well as a limited edition Bronze Goddess Body Oil to give you an all-over sun-drenched look.
This palette so captures an island feeling that it’s your beauty equivalent of hopping on a plane. The hues of green, gold, and nude reflect all the basic colors of a Caribbean paradise, but the finish doesn’t veer from Lauder’s upscale quality. A tip for applying the eyeshadow palette: you don’t need to use all the shades…be resourceful and mix and mingle a few, wet or dry, because they are deep, rich, and pigmented. A little goes a long way.
This has become one of our favorite liquid eyeliners partially because it is smoldering, and has a shimmery quality to it. The precision tip wand/pen applies the liquid beautifully on the eyes, and the liner stays put without smudging. The shade combo is summertime versatile: dual bronze/black.
This new mascara magnifies and multiplies lash volume to create instant va va voom. Note that this is a limited edition.
Apart from these notables, the collection rocks limited edition shades of Pure Color Sheer RollerGloss, and Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in new shades of Solar Crush and Fuschia Fever.
