terax

TERAX LIFE DROPS LEAVE IN PROTEIN CONDITIONER - Although I now use almost exlusively Fekkai products for my hair, after converting from Kerastase which I also loved, this is still one of my staples. Terax is a wonderful brand – from Italy. I love that it is light and silky and doesn’t flatten out your hair. You only need a little – literally a few drops at the ends can help substantially. It locks in moisture – without making hair sticky or greasy and it delivers what it promises – more healthy feeling hair and enhanced bounceability. Good for frazzled, over blown and over processed hair and tames coarse hair too.

FINAL VERDICT – RDW (RUN DONT WALK) - I rate this as one of the classics – I have been using it since the old days when it came in that white bottle with the pink lettering. And only $20 which is not bad for premium hair care.

eve_lom_cleanser

EVE LOM CLEANSER - This is another one of those cult favorites that boggles the mind. I bought this one time when it was all the rage in London and everyone was buzzing about it. I ended up using it on my legs and feet because it was so overwhelming to use on my face. It’s not really a cleanser – it has the consistency of spackle and is more like a mask or gommage without the pleasant texture and fragrances of so many other refined spa and facialist brands. And don’t even get me started on the TLC Cream – you would be better off just buying a case of Vaseline. The formulation of the whole range is just crude and old school. It takes facial care back to the dark ages. Sorry, I was not impressed.

FINAL VERDICT – SYC (Save Your Cash) - Thick, greasy, pasty stuff and not to mention, unbelievably overpriced. Pass. You’ll thank me later.

st-ives-apricot-scrub-ultra_6693cd54

ST IVES APRICOT SCRUB - This is my FAVORITE scrub of all time. It’s always a best seller and you know why? Because it feels good, works great, and  leaves you skin clean and free of dirt and blackheads. Put it on in the shower when you face is wet and rub it in (not too hard, just lightly) and then rinse off. It also smells fruity and natural and even healthy.

FINAL VERDICT – RDW (Run Dont Walk) - You will love it. I turned all my BFFs onto it too.
