Founded by top makeup artist Dani Guinsberg and incorporating the talent of hair stylists Jonathan Long, Ben Cooke & Jennie Roberts, the Session School has opened its doors to teach the hair & beauty-loving public all the necessary skills, tips and insider secrets to becoming a pro.
Individually this talented team have worked their magic for publications like Vanity Fair, Vogue, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan and celebrities including The Beckhams, Leona Lewis, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Kristen Scott Thomas, Denzel Washington, Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey. Plus they are regulars at London, Paris and Milan fashion weeks. The fabulous four are now sharing their experience and tips to teach at the UK’s most exciting new hair and make-up school. Set in a gorgeous listed building that started life as a school, The Session School is situated in the heart of London’s West End and provides a bright, airy and spacious facility to learn.
The Session School offers training to individuals who are passionate about hair and make-up. Whether as a hobby or pursuing a career in the industry, students receive unparalleled tuition from these well-known experts working at the heart of the industry.
The school caters for all levels of ability. The in-depth Foundations Courses are aimed at beginners and run over eleven classes covering everything from the very basics to the more creative. Classes are small and intimate meaning teaching is virtually one-to-one. The How to Create courses are aimed at those with slightly more experience where individuals can improve particular techniques over just a few days and learn industry secrets such as the art of catwalk hair, men’s grooming or hair extensions. The school also offers a variety of specific training including Bridal Hair and Make-Up, Smokey Eye, Mature make-up and Skincare workshops as well as the ultimate in make-up training; the Private Make-Up Class where individuals learn how to revamp their own make-up styles and identify the right looks and colours for them.
