A familiar byline in the cosmetics and fragrance industry for the past 15 years, Dorene brings her insider’s perspective to Beautyinthebag.com. As a beauty communications specialist, her career path has entailed editorial positions as well as public relations work. Previously she was executive editor of Cosmetic World, the leading weekly beauty trade journal. Her career has lead her to the offices of leading beauty companies, where she had the privilege of interviewing both CEOs and presidents to learn all about the beauty business from the inside out. She has also served as the New York Correspondent for Cosmetic News Weekly, a global trade journal. She earned a Master’s of Professional Studies Degree in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA. Dorene continues to keep her finger on the pulse of trends, new launches and events of the beauty industry. Eden Lipke – Co-Founder/Community Manager

As co-founder of Beautyinthebag.com along with her mother Wendy Lewis, Eden has grown up in a world filled with beauty which is her passion. She graduated from Boston University at the top of her class and in only three years with a degree in Psychology and Communications, and is currently the Marketing Manager for MD Complete, a skincare range developed by Minneapolis dermatologist and laser guru Dr. Brian Zelickson, handling everything from social media across multiple platforms, creating original content and graphics, managing press outreach, and growing the brand’s popularity . Eden instagrams, tweets, blogs, and posts about the best in beauty and her new beauty finds.
